A driver is facing charges after disobeying a road closed sign.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - The Oxford OPP have laid charges after a driver disobeyed a road closed sign.
It was during a fatal collision investigation on Sunday on Road 68 in Zorra Township that a driver since past the road closed sign. Police was able to find the vehicle and it was fortunate that nobody else got hurt.
A 44-year-old Embro resident is now facing charges including, dangerous operation, operation while impaired, possession of over 30g of dried cannabis, failure to properly wear a seat belt, failure to slow down and proceeded with caution for an emergency vehicle, driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available, and driving on a closed highway.
The driver will have a date in Woodstock Court on December 10th.
