The search for 37-year-old Gary Brittain is over.

Gary was found deceased today near Railway Street East in Blandford Blenheim Township.
He initially went missing almost a week ago last seen at the railroad tracks at Main Street North and Railway Street West.
The investigation continues but is not being treated as suspicious.
The OPP would like to thank the community for their efforts and assistance in this case.

UPDATE 2: About 200 volunteers have joined the search for Gary.
OPP Sergeant Ed Sanchuk posted a video on the OPP West Region X page this morning.
"We want people to be aware, that a large contingent of people separate from our police investigation have gathered volunteers from the community to also conduct a search for Gary. So we're putting a reminder out to all homeowners, property owners, and farmers that you may see individuals on your property searching for Gary. If anyone has any issues and feels they do not belong with the volunteers and may be trespassing on your property, please feel free to reach out to the OPP."

UPDATE 1: The Oxford OPP is encouraging everyone to check their backyards, outbuildings, and surrounding properties.
In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page Monday evening, Sergeant Ed Sanchuk said they have several units helping in the search.
"I can tell you right now that we have had London Search and Rescue Unit out here, aviation services, canine services, the Major Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, and our remote pilot auto, also known as a drone."
He also said that he spoke with Gary's family.
"We want to bring Gary home to his family, so from our OPP family to everyone's family out there watching, just put yourself in their shoes. So if you know something please say something, give us a call, and let investigators know. Even if if it's the smallest thing that you think may not help, it could hold the key to this investigation."

OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford OPP are searching for a missing man.
The detachment received a call yesterday just before 10:20 p.m. about a man going missing. 37-year-old Gary was seen leaving an address on Township Road 2 in Princeton on foot around 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Police say he was last seen by the railroad tracks at Main Street North and Railway Street West in Princeton.
Gary is described as 6'2", 215 pounds, he has short black hair, with scruffy facial hair. He also has tattoos on his arms and back, the tattoos are described as a large tribal piece. He was last seen wearing camouflage shorts, a black t-shirt, and a black hoodie.
Gary has a traumatic brain injury, which requires medication that he does not have with him. He is said to become easily confused, and has limited mobility due to his condition. There are serious concerns for his well-being.
