The Woodstock Flying Club helped paint the town Gold for Hunter Weston with a flyover on Tuesday.
OXFORD COUNTY - Homes across Oxford County are using gold decorations in honour of four year old Hunter Weston.
The Woodstock Flying Club even took part on Tuesday with a flyover in Woodstock, leaving a beautiful gold cloud across the sky line.
The Paint the Town Gold for Hunter started as a Facebook group earlier this month. Sarah Greenfield and Jennifer George have been providing gold ribbons to people to decorate their homes for Hunter. George says the campaign blew up right away.
"Within minutes we had over 500 members with everyone requesting ribbons. We've ordered and made what we can but unfortunately there is a limit."
George says they won't be able to order ribbons for everyone, so they're encouraging others to find their own ribbons or another way they can decorate their homes with gold to show their support. Participants are also being encouraged to share photos of their decorated homes on social media with #HunterStrong.
Hunter Weston is a courageous 4 year old was diagnosed with Nueroblastoma last year.
His family tried everything they could, including multiple rounds of chemo, surgery and experimental treatment, however nothing worked and his days are limited.
