Police say a pickup truck struck a pedestrian on Potters Road at around 7:30 a.m. today. The pedestrian died at the scene, while the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
In a video posted on the OPP West Region X page, Constable Andrew Gamble said Potters Road is closed between Westtown Line and Rock Mills Road.
"It is expected to remain closed for the next several hours as officers continue with the investigation. There are road barricades in place, they are there for a reason, and they do serve a purpose so please do not go around them. You will not be able to get through."
