A 36-year-old from Shakespeare was airlifted to hospital on Friday.
PERTH COUNTY - The Perth OPP is investigating a crash between an SUV and a motorcycle in Perth East Township.
The crash happened at the corner of Line 47 and Perth Road 107 at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday..
Constable Kody Lyons say both drivers were taken to hospital.
"The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old individual from Shakespeare, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and they were treated on scene by paramedics before being transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to a regional trauma centre. The SUV driver, an 87-year-old individual from Stratford, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for assessment."
The area was closed for several hours, but is has since reopened.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have dash cam footage or video surviellence of the area at the time of the crash.
