The project is expected to be completed by November.
WOODSTOCK - The second phase of the Oxford Road 2 construction project is set to begin this week, tentatively.
Crews are set to work on Oxford Road 2 from Ingersoll Road to just west of Mill Street
Even though phase 1 is nearing completion, there will be no access to Oxford Road 2 from Oxford Road 12.
Traffic travelling north on Oxford Road 9 will have access to Oxford Road 2, which travels west. Traffic travelling east on Oxford Road 2 will have access to Oxford Road 9, which travels south. All other access will be limited to residents, businesses and emergency services.
Two detour routes will be in place for non-local traffic.
The final phase of construction includes the intersection of Oxford Road 2 and Oxford Road 12. The intersection will be subject to a temporary four-week closure, and a separate detour will be in place.
This project began in April and is expected to be completed by November.
