A panel of judges will determine who has the Best Pepperoni Pizza and the Best Creative Pizza.
INGERSOLL - Downtown Ingersoll is going to be packed for the fourth annual Pizza Fest.
Five local restaurants will face off later today; Tito's, Gino's, Domino's, Little Caesars, and Pizza Hut.
A panel of six judges will try them all to determine who has the Best Pepperoni Pizza and who has the Best Creative Pizza. The judging panel will include Ingersoll Mayor Brian Petrie, Ingersoll Councillor Kristy Van Kooten-Bossence, Town of Ingersoll staff member Kale Kruse, Oxford OPP Staff Sergeant Rafal Schubert, Lee Griffi from Grant Haven Media (the Woodstock-Ingersoll Echo), and Heart FM's very own Marcie Culbert.
Other pizza lovers can also try all of the slices if they stop by between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. today. Tickets cost $1 each and you need three of them to purchase a slice. You'll also be able to grab a pop or a bottle of water for one ticket.
In addition to all of the pizza, there's also going to be live music on site, a car show, a stilt-walking Pizza Chef, and other forms of entertainment.
The Olde Bakery Cafe will be serving a special dessert pizza for the occasion and All Celebrations will have pizza popcorn and slushies available.
All of the proceeds raised will support local charities including the Ingersoll Salvation Army, the Ingersoll Lions Club and the Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts.
