The Yeck Division finals and the Doherty Division finals will both get underway tonight, with the Trojans visiting the Bulldogs and the Firebirds hosting the Apple Jacks.
PJHL - It's going to be an exciting night in local PJHL playoff action.
The Thamesford Trojans will visit the Mount Brydges Bulldogs tonight in Game 1 of the Yeck Division finals. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. at the Tri-Town Ice Arena.
The Trojans advanced to the finals on last Wednesday, after celebrating a 3-2 win over the North Middlesex Stars. Thamesford won the semifinal series 4-0 in the end. The Bulldogs secured their spot in the finals on last Tuesday. They crushed the Exeter Hawks 5-1 and won the semifinal series 4-0.
Meanwhile the Doherty Division finals will also get underway tonight with the New Hamburg Firebirds hosting the Wellesley Apple Jacks at the Wilmot Recreation Complex. That game will also begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Firebirds advanced the finals last Tuesday after they beat the Tavistock Braves 5-4 in overtime, winning the semifinal series 4-0. The Apple Jacks moved on to the finals on Thursday after they beat the Norwich Merchants 5-2, winning the semifinal series 4-1.
