Both of the Doherty Division semifinal series are now tied at 1-1.
PJHL - It was a split weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets and the Norwich Merchants in the Doherty Division semifinals.
The Merchants celebrated a 2-1 victory over the Wellesley Applejacks Friday night, while the Navy Vets suffered a 2-1 loss to the New Hamburg Firebirds in overtime.
The Vets bounced back with 2-1 overtime victory over New Hamburg on Saturday, while the Merchants fell to the Applejacks 4-2.
This means both of the best-of-seven series are now tied at 1-1.
Game 3 of the Navy Vets vs. Firebirds series will be taking place at the Wilmot Recreation tomorrow night and Game 3 of the Merchants vs. Applejacks series will be taking place at Nor-Del Arena Thursday night. Both games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
