The Thamesford Trojans celebrated a 2-1 win over the Mount Brydges Bulldogs last night, while the New Hamburg Firebirds fell to the Wellesley Applejacks 4-1.
PJHL - The Thamesford Trojans started the Yeck Division final off on the right foot!
They celebrated a 2-1 win over the Mount Brydges Bulldogs at Tri-Town Ice Arena last night.
The Trojans are now leading the best-of-seven series 1-0 and Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow night at the Thamesford Arena Recreation Centre. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
The Doherty Division final also got underway last night with the Wellesley Applejacks crushing the New Hamburg Firebirds 4-1.
The Applejacks have now taken a 1-0 lead in the series and Game 2 will take over the Wellesley Community Centre tomorrow night. That game will also begin at 7:30 p.m.
