The 1st round of the PJHL playoffs continue this weekend.
PJHL - It is getting down to crunch time for the Oxford County teams in the PJHL playoffs.
The Woodstock Navy Vets are currently leading the Paris Titans 3-1 in their quarter final. Game 5 of the series goes tonight at Southwood Arena. The teams would be back in action Sunday in Paris for game 6, if the Titans can pull out the game 5 victory.
The Tavistock Braves will also hit the ice tonight as they are in New Hamburg to take on the Firebirds. It is game 5 of their quarterfinal series, with each team having two victories. Game 6 will take place Sunday afternoon in Tavistock.
The Norwich Merchants are idle for the time being as they completed a first round sweep of the Hespeler Shamrocks.
And lastly, in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans need a victory in game 4 tonight as they trail the Port Stanley Sailors 3-0 in that quarterfinal. If the Trojans can stay alive, game 5 goes tomorrow night in Port Stanley, and if needed game 6 will be back in Thamesford Sunday night.
