Here is a look at what happened with the Oxford County teams in the PJHL this weekend.
PJHL - The PJHL playoffs continued with two Oxford County teams in action.
Over the weekend the Woodstock Navy Vets saw their season end as they were knocked out by the New Hamburg Firebirds for the second straight season. They fell to the Firebirds 3-1 on Friday and 6-3 yesterday, which saw their Doherty Division semifinal series end 4-1.
This means the Norwich Merchants are the last team standing in Oxford County. They suffered a 2-0 loss on Saturday and a 6-3 loss yesterday... so they're trailing the semifinal series 3-2. Game 6 is scheduled for Wednesday night in Wellesley.
