The Navy Vets lost both of their road games over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a rough weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets.
They suffered their first loss of the season Friday night, falling 5-3 to the Firebirds in New Hamburg. The Vets did have a 3-1 lead going into the third period, but the Firebirds were able to rally for the win.
Woodstock also suffered a 5-2 loss to the Titans in Paris on Saturday. Newcomers Lucas Balanca and Diego Sabino scored the two goals for the Vets, while Vets goalie Scott Rodrigue finished the night with 41 saves
Meanwhile, the Norwich Merchants were crushed by the Wellesley Applejacks 7-1 on Friday, but they bounced back with a 7-3 victory over the Dorchester Dolphins yesterday.
The Tavistock Braves only had one game this weekend and they beat the Paris Titans 6-4 on Friday.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans fell to the Petrolia Flyers 3-2 on Friday.
