The Woodstock Navy Vets celebrated two wins at Southwood Arena over the weekend.
PJHL - It was a good weekend for the Navy Vets
Woodstock celebrated a 6-4 win over the Paris Mounties on Friday and doubled the Tavistock Braves 4-2 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Braves suffered a 3-2 loss to the Merchants in Norwich on Friday and the Merchants fell to the Applejacks in Wellesley on Saturday with a final score of 4-3.
Looking at the South Doherty Division standings, the New Hamburg Firebirds sit in are sitting in place, followed by the Tavistock Braves in second place and the Woodstock Navy Vets in third place. The Norwich Merchants are currently sitting in fifth place behind the Wellesley Applejacks.
In the West Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans fell to the Exeter Hawks 8-5 on Friday and narrowly beat the Lucan Irish 3-2 on Saturday. The Trojans are currently sitting in first place in their division.
