The draw is for a gold and diamond necklace valued at $600 or a pair of gold and diamond earrings valued at $1400.
WOODSTOCK - It's the last call to buy tickets for a chance to win gold and diamond jewelry.
The Cycles of Life have been selling tickets for their fundraising draw and co-chair Tim Smith says there are way too many tickets available, meaning you might have a greater chance at winning.
The draw is for a gold and diamond necklace valued at $600 or a pair of gold and diamond earrings valued at $1400 (comes with appraisal certificate).
Smith also said explains where the idea came from.
"This is our first [fundraiser] of this magnitude. Our fundraising coordinator came up with the idea a couple months ago. We actually purchased the [jewelry] from a follower."
Smith confirmed that the money raised from the sale of the tickets will go towards financing Community Outreach Tables and their long-term goals of "breaking the cycle" of homelessness, providing a safe, educational and stable living environment for those in need and opening a 24/7 shelter with transitional housing attached.
Tickets are available for $40 each at any Community Outreach Table location or by contacting Cycles of Life through their Facebook page or email. They can be purchased until 10 a.m. tomorrow morning, which is one hour before they draw the winner.
