NORFOLK COUNTY - Police are investigating after a victim was sexually assaulted after accepting a ride from an unknown man.
Officers got the call of a sexual assault at a South Drive address in Simcoe on Monday around 12:47 p.m.
The victim says they were approached by an unknown man driving an SUV around 10:00 a.m., while sitting on the curb on Norfolk Street South.
The victim accepted a ride and got into the vehicle where they were then taken to an address on South Drive and sexually assaulted while in the SUV.
The victim was able to exit the vehicle and reported the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, with a Jamaican accent, possibly in his late 20's or early 30's. The suspect had a very distinctive thick, black beard which was covering his cheeks and was wearing a dark shirt and pajama pants.
The vehicle is described as a gold coloured SUV with beige leather interior with a large console/arm rest in the middle of the seats. The SUV was missing the rear passenger seat and it appears that this particular vehicle is a 6 to 7 passenger SUV.
