Woodstock Police were busy this weekend with a pair of collisions, one involving a police cruiser.
The first happened around 11:30 Friday night when an officer in a marked car collided with another vehicle in the west bound lane of Devonshire near Valleyview Drive.
Both vehicles suffered minor damage. Damage to the front of the police vehicle is estimated at $3000.00 and damage to the rear of the second vehicle is estimated at $1000.00
The second happened Saturday at the intersection of Mill Street and Park Row.
Police say an east bound motorcycle went through a stop sign on Park Row without stopping and was hit by a south bound SUV.
The 23 year old Woodstock SUV driver was not injured. The 18 year old Woodstock motorcycle passenger was transported to Woodstock Hospital with minor injuries while the 27 year old male driver of the motorcycle from Woodstock was transported to London Health Sciences Centre via air ambulance for serious injuries to his lower body.
Police are continuing to investigate both collisions.
