Police Interview Stirs Up Hard Feelings for Victoria St. Victim

One of the victims of the Victoria St. blast was hoping to get some answers last night. Woodstock Police investigators visited the home of Cindy Gale. However, instead of providing answers, police just asked Gale and her husband more questions. "Just more questions, more questions about that day. No answers. For me, I was thinking we were going to get some answers, but just more frustration and more questions." Gale calls the latest development "frustrating". "I think for me and my husband anyway, we waited 2-years and the Fire Marshall comes out and says we know what happened, but we're not telling you, we're giving it to the police...that still leaves us in limbo. Not that answers are going to solve what happened, but at least you will know why it happened, and we don't even know that at this point." Wednesday marked the 2-year anniversary of the explosion and fire that ripped a gaping hold into a three storey building on Victoria St. in Woodstock. Margaret Gillett, 73, and Bill Watmough, 79 were killed in the blast. Over 100 others, including Gale were left homeless. But Gale once again, is taking the occasion to thank the community that rallied together in support of the victims. "We feel very blessed by this community. Because at a time when we were all faced with huge struggles, this community really came through for us. A lot of donations that helped us, and that is something you can't replace. That will always be in our hearts."
