According to Erie Thames Powerlines President Chris White, a broken insulator on a hydro pole tripped a circuit feeder causing the outage. White says crews are working on the issue and hope to have the power restored within the hour. White mentioned there is the possibility of roughly 50 residual customers as crews repair other damaged equipment.
