Premier Ford says he's done playing nice with the Federal Government, calling the vaccine rollout a joke as Canada sits 55th in the World.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is fed up with the Federal rollout of vaccines.
Ford says he's frustrated with the Federal Government, calling the rollout a joke.
"This is the root cause, we do not have enough vaccines from the Federal Government, its a joke, 55th in the world, I'm done, this is as frustrating as anything."
Ford says the Federal Government has dropped the ball.
"I've been very diplomatic and I have been very complimentary, but enough is enough, this is becoming a joke, we need more vaccines, simple as that and we've shown the people of Ontario, we have the capacity, we have the infrastructure, there is 83,000 people vaccinated yesterday, we have hundreds of thousands of people waiting in line and they have dropped the ball majorly."
Ford says it's impossible to plan when they don't even know when we will getting more doses.
"We were expecting some Moderna this week, for the third time now it's delayed, the Astra-Zeneca that we are supposed to roll out into the pharmacies, we don't know when were getting it, they don't even give us a date, how are we supposed to plan when we don't have a date."
Ford says pharmacies are starting to run out and Shoppers has hundreds of thousands of people waiting in line to get vaccinated.
