The Pride flag had only been flying for a couple of days when it was taken from a home on Main Street North last Wednesday.
BURGESSVILLE - Oxford OPP were called after a pride flag was stolen from a home in Burgessville.
A Heart FM listener reached out to tell us about the theft. The flag was taken last Wednesday, it had only been up for a couple of days. Police were called and they did take a statement from the victim. The flag was stolen from a home on Main Street North.
This is not the first reported incident of Pride signs or flags being stolen in the region. Brant OPP are investigating multiple thefts of Pride signs in Paris from homes on Victoria Street, Catherine Street, Grand River Street North and St. Andrew Street.
