The Province confirmed 1,003 new cases of the virus today, another 14 deaths and 949 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,003 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 81,693.
The Province reported 14 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,209. Meanwhile another 949 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 70,086.
The province completed 41,268 tests yesterday. We currently have 380 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 86 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 300 new cases in Toronto, 280 in Peel and 125 in York Region.
