The Province confirmed 1,050 new cases of the virus today, 14 additional deaths and another 837 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,050 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 78,705.
The Province reported 14 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,166. Meanwhile another 837 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 67,244.
The province completed 25,279 tests yesterday. We currently have 357 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 73 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 408 new cases in Toronto, 212 in Peel, 86 in Halton, 76 in York Region and 57 in Durham.
