The Province also confirmed 1,414 recoveries today and 45 new cases of the COVID-19 variant that originated in the UK.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,076 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 283,587. Once again, todays number are underreported as Toronto Public Health did not report all of their cases as part of their migration to ccm.
The Province also announced 18 new COVID-19 related deaths bringing the total to 6,632. Another 1,415 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 264,459. The Province has confirmed 41 new cases of the COVID-19 variant that originated in the UK bringing the total to 275.
The province completed 62,012 tests yesterday. We currently have 763 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 295 people in the ICU and 204 in the ICU on a ventilator.
