Daily case numbers are the lowest they have been all week in Ontario with 1,092 and 1,110 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,092 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 313,520.
Ontario also confirmed 10 new deaths today bringing the total to 7,109. Another 1,110 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 295,128. The Province also confirmed over a 48 new variant cases over the weekend, this means we now have a total of 956 cases of the variant that originated in the U.K, 41 of the variant traced back to South Africa and 28 that originated in Brazil.
The province completed over 60,619 tests yesterday. We currently have 680 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 277 people in the ICU and 184 in the ICU on a ventilator.
