Daily case numbers are hovering around 1,000 again today with 2,371 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,095 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 526,045.
The Province confirmed 23 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,678. Another 2,371 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 499,640.
The province completed 24,008 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,073 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 672 people in the ICU and 469 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 257 new cases in Toronto, 215 in Peel, 123 in Durham and 101 in York Region.
