The Province also confirmed another 155 variants of concern in the Province and 1,159 resolved cases today.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 1,250 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 306,007.
Ontario also confirmed 22 new deaths this morning bringing the total to 7,046. Another 1,159 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 288,583. Ontario confirmed 17 new cases of COVID-19 variants yesterday. The Province also confirmed 155 new variant cases today, this means we now have a total of 799 cases of the variant that originated in the U.K, 31 of the variant traced back to South Africa and 3 that originated in Brazil.
The province completed over 64,748 tests yesterday. We currently have 643 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 280 people in the ICU and 183 in the ICU on a ventilator.
