Another single day record for daily case numbers has been set in Ontario with 1,575. The Province also reported 917 recoveries today and another 18 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario set a new record for single day cases again today and it is the 7th day in a row, they are reporting over 1,000 new cases of COVID-19.
Today, Ontario confirmed 1,575 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 89,784.
Ontario also reported 18 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,293. Meanwhile another 917 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 75,220.
The province completed 39,559 tests yesterday. We currently have 431 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 98 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from the GTA with 472 new cases in Toronto, 448 in Peel and 155 in York Region.
