The Province confirmed 2,290 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 1,992 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,290 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 151,257.
The Province also confirmed another 40 deaths and the total now sits at 4,098 after the weekend. Meanwhile another 1,992 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 129,417.
The province completed 68,246 tests yesterday. We currently have 877 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 261 people in the ICU and 168 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases continue to come from hot spots in the Province with 691 new cases in Toronto, 361 in Peel, 296 in York Region, 207 in Windsor-Essex County and 126 in Hamilton.
