Daily case numbers continue to be over 2,000 in Ontario as the Province also confirmed 1,973 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,333 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 349,903.
The Province confirmed another 15 COVID-19 related deaths today, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,366. Another 1,973 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 322,382.
The province completed 52,532 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,111 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 396 people in the ICU and 252 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 785 new cases in Toronto, 433 in Peel, 222 in York Region, 153 in Hamilton, 124 in Ottawa and 120 in Durham.
