Daily case numbers are up today with 2,759 new cases and 3,455 resolved cases. The Province also confirmed 31 additional deaths, including a 90 year old woman from Oxford County.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,759 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 502,171.
The Province confirmed 31 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,405. This includes a 90 year old woman from Oxford County who was a resident at the Caressant Care Nursing Home.
Another 3,455 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 464,531.
The province completed 47,638 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,632 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 776 people in the ICU and 568 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 774 new cases in Toronto, 602 in Peel, 258 in York Region, 147 in Durham and 133 in Hamilton.
