ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 425 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 47,264.
The Province also confirmed 2 new COVID-19 related deaths today and the total sits at 2,829. Meanwhile another 178 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 41,146.
The province completed 31,700 tests yesterday. Almost half of the cases, 175 are from Toronto with 84 in Peel and 60 in Ottawa. 67% of today's cases are in people under the age of 40.
We currently have 65 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 22 are in the ICU.
