We are still missing numbers from Toronto Public Health. The Province did confirm 904 new cases of the virus this morning and 1,012 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 904 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 287,736. Once again, todays number are underreported as Toronto Public Health did not report all of their cases as part of their migration to ccm.
The total number of deaths linked to COVID-19 in Ontario now stands at 6,719. Another 1,012 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 269,413. The Province has confirmed new cases of the COVID-19 variant that originated in the UK bringing the total to 309. We also have 9 confirmed cases of the UK variant that originated in South Africa and 1 that originated from Brazil.
The province completed 27,005 tests yesterday. We currently have 742 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 292 people in the ICU and 201 in the ICU on a ventilator.
