Windsor-Essex and York Regions are moving into Lockdown and London-Middlesex is moving to red. Southwestern Public Health which includes Oxford County will stay in the Orange tier.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario is moving two more regions into lockdown.
Based on the latest data, the following public health regions will move from their current level in the framework to the following levels effective Monday, December 14, 2020 at 12:01 a.m.:
Grey/Lockdown
- Windsor-Essex County Health Unit
- York Region Public Health
Red-Control
- Middlesex- London Health Unit
- Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit
- Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.
Orange-Restrict
- Eastern Ontario Health Unit
Yellow-Protect
- Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit
All other public health regions will remain at their current level. Southwestern Public Health will stay in the orange tier despite a record setting day of daily cases. Last week the Health Unit warned that the current numbers were indicative of a move to the red zone, however the region has avoided that fate for now. You can find more information on what the colours mean and what it means to be in lockdown/red/orange/yellow/green here.
