The $1.19 million investment will go towards critical health care infrastructure upgrades, repairs and maintenance at the three main hospitals in Oxford County.
Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman announced more funding today for the three local hospitals in Oxford County.
The $1.19 million investment will go towards critical health care infrastructure upgrades, repairs and maintenance.
The money will be split so that $830,994 will go to Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, $344,072 to Tillsonburg District Memorial and $18,000 to Woodstock General Hospital.
Hardeman says this funding is part of the Governments Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund and the Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
"I’m happy to see this important investment in our hospitals in Oxford. This funding from the province allows our health care system partners to address urgent infrastructure renewal needs such as upgrades or replacements of roofs, windows, security systems, fire alarms and back-up generators."
