WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident in the Friendly City.
Officials say a small black dog, possibly a French Bull Dog, bit someone in Les McKerral Park on Southwood Way at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
The dog allegedly ran onto one of the soccer fields and bit one of the players. The owner is believed to be a woman in her 30s and she was sitting on one of the benches at the time.
Southwestern Public Health is asking for the public's help identifying the owner. Anyone with information should call 519-421-9901 or 1-800-922-0096 and ask to speak to a public health inspector.
