If you have found a yellow door hanger on your front door recently, make sure you leave a food donation for the Salvation Army in a box or a bag on your front step tonight.
OXFORD COUNTY - Local realtors are about to hit the streets of Woodstock, Ingersoll, Sweaburg, Embro, Beachville, and Tillsonburg.
The Realtors Care Food Drive will be happening today with all of the donations going to local Salvation Army food banks.
Members of the Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, and Area Association of Realtors went out to the pickup areas last week and distributed yellow door hangers. They will return between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. today to pick up donations.
If you found a yellow door hanger on your front door last week, make sure you leave a donation in a box or a bag on your front porch for pickup. Expired items will be thrown out.
Tammy Betzner, an Ingersoll-based realtor from Century 21 Heritage House, says the Salvation Army food bank in Ingersoll is able to feed 100 local families for up to four to five months thanks to the Realtors Care Food Drive.
