The Briar qualifying curling tankard is being hosted by Ingersoll Curling Club.
INGERSOLL - Tickets are on sale for the 2015 Recharge with Milk curling tankard.
The Briar qualifying tournament is being hosted by the Ingersoll Curing Club and being held at the Flight Exec Centre in Dorchester.
Entertainment Director for the 2015 Tankard Adam Funnell says recognizable names will be in attendance.
Funnell says they are expecting a great week of competition. "This is actually the premier event for curling in Ontario. The winner of this tournament will actually go on to the Brier's. It's going to be a great week of curling. We are expecting probably 20,000 people to come through the building for the week."
"Currently we are still only selling the ticket packages," says Funnell. "There's three options. You can buy a full week package which includes the Monday right through to the Sunday. You can buy just a weekday package which is Monday to Friday and then of course the weekend package which is Saturday and Sunday."
On top of admission to the matches, the tickets will also get you into concerts featuring Movin' Groovin' & Verhoeven, the Shananigans,The Mudmen as well as Main Street Dueling Pianos.
The tournament runs from February 2 through the 8th.
