A group of young caped crusaders helped to reveal the United Way's 2013 Campaign total.
It's another record breaking year for the United Way of Oxford.
Thursday night they revealed their 2013 campaign grand total with $1,120,000 raised, that's $15,000 more than their goal.
Several awards were handed out last night as well and Executive Director, Kelly Gilson says one of the big ones was for the Canvassing Team.
"A group of volunteers that really come together to do an amazing job and that went to the County of Oxford. They run a great United Way campaign across the County and they have many buildings and locations so it take a lot of coordinating."
The Woodstock Hospital which took home their special award of excellence.
"For years and years they have just run stellar campaigns, believing in the work that we do and how the organizations support the work that the hospital does and how it comes together to build a healthier community."
One organization was awarded for 25 years of giving.
"GM CAMI Assembly and UNIFOR Local 88, those groups come together in partnership to just do amazing things for the community overall year after year and us included."
Chris Friesen and Kristi Cross were the new co-chairs for this year's campaign.
