The theme this year is TV Takeover.
OXFORD COUNTY - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County (BBBS Oxford) is excited for the return of Play for Kids Sake.
Erica Hughes, Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator with BBBS Oxford, explains what to expect for this year's event.
"We are doing a TV Takeover this year. We offer bowling, and indoor golf as an option. You join a team or make a team, you fundraise, and then you come out and have a blast."
Bowling will happen in Ingersoll Lanes in Ingersoll, and C&D Lanes in Woodstock. The indoor golf simulation will be offered at FORE Oxford in Woodstock, and Birds Golf Sports Lounge in Tillsonburg. Hughes is looking forward to the creative approach from teams.
"You can get as creative as you want or as minimal as you want. But we thought it would be really fun to see what folks could come up with in terms of a TV theme."
Those looking to participate have the option starting on February 6th thru February 15th. More information on how to sign up can be found here.
As of right now, there are 140 kids on the wait list in Oxford County looking for mentors.
