NORWICH TOWNSHIP - The Oxford OPP is investigating a case of vandalism at Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese in Norwich Township.
Police say someone damaged and stole the company's mailbox and sign sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese is a big supporter of Pride Month and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. It will be hosting it's Cheesy Pride Family Day this Saturday, complete with bouncy castles, face painting, a poutine rainbow bar and more.
The owners posted about the vandalism on the Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese Facebook page, stating they were targetted because they stand up for basic human rights in their community. You can read the full statement below this article.
The OPP would like locals in the area to check their surveillence and dash cam footage from the time of the crime, and report any suspicous activity to police.
