The Canadian Cancer Society is holding another Relay Rally at Tremblett's to answer questions and start registrations.
INGERSOLL - The Canadian Cancer Society is holding another Relay Rally, this time in Ingersoll.
Community Fundraiser Specialist Liz Wismer Van-Meer says they will be at Tremblett's Independent Grocer from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd.
"We're changing it up a little bit for Ingersoll's event this year so it's again like what we saw in Woodstock with an Open House Drop in. We have a barbeque happening as well, so all of the proceeds from the barbeque will be going to the Relay for Life in Ingersoll."
Wismer Van-Meer says this is a great opportunity to get any of your questions about the Relay for Life answered.
"If you just want to learn a little bit more about relay in Ingersoll you can stop by and talk to some of the staff and committee members there. And we'll also have the registrations taking place - we'll be upstairs doing the registrations. There will also be some live entertainment playing for us at Tremblett's that day."
Wismer Van-Meer says participants can look forward to all the fun they've had in Ingersoll returning.
"Ingersoll will be 6 p.m. - 12 a.m. back at IDCI. The same things you're used to seeing at the event will be back: we'll have the meal, the Hub, the live entertainment, the survivor's Victory Lap will kick off the event off for us. And a lot of the other things that Ingersoll always brings - Ingersoll has a lot of really young folks who come out for the event so they have a lot of energy at theirs."
