A grim discovery was made this afternoon at the scene of a home gutted by fire in Blandford-Blenheim. OPP say their investigators, along with the Ontario Fire Marshall discovered human remains in the century-old home on Township Road 12. Neighbours say a couple in their 60's were the residents there, Cambridge Physician, Dr. Ron Gingrich and his wife Lois. Police say no further details will be released until an identification can be made, and an investigation into the source of Monday's fire takes place. In a release, police indicate the investigation is under the direction of Detective Inspector Chris Avery of the Criminal Investigations Branch.
