Two men are facing a number of charges after a replica handgun was pointed at a citizen in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock police were called out to Clarke and Nellis Street after getting a report from a citizen that someone pointed a hand gun at them.
Police say the citizen flagged down the officer on Friday night. The victim was not injured and the suspect had already fled the area in a car. Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle. Officers seized a replica handgun, a set of brass knuckles and a baseball bat.
The incident was part of an ongoing dispute between the two men. After investigating a 27 year old man from Brantford was arrested. He was charged with pointing a firearm and resisting arrest. A 30 year old man from the Township of Southwest Oxford was also charged with obstruct police, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a firearm.
