A new Executive Director will be coming to United Way Oxford. Kelly Gilson will be retiring from the role later this year.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Executive Director of United Way Oxford has decided to step down after 23 years of service.
Kelly Gilson will officially retire at the end of September. She has made quite the impact over the years, with United Way raising over 28.5 million dollars during her tenure. She also launched several fundraisers, including the Student Stairclimb in 2004, the Day of Caring in 2006, Supplies 4 Students in 2016, and Tampon Tuesday in 2018.
She says every day with United Way has been an absolute joy, and she will forever be grateful for being part of the organization.
United Way will be announcing its next steps in the coming weeks.
