It could be the first of it's kind in Canada, and it would be in Ingersoll. Bill Mates the Director of Economic Development says "in 2010 council received a report from the St. Clements Group, proposing a multi-institutional training centre which could be opened up at VMS. What that would mean is that there would be four or five colleges and they would be offering different courses throughout the building". There are only about five in the US, including Gaylord Michigan which houses eight colleges under one building. According to Mates, there's an opportunity for such a facility in Ingersoll, at the former Victory Memorial Public School building. Conestoga College is one possible college that has been looking at expansion in Ingersoll. Mates told Heart FM if it does become there won't be any official word on this for at least 6-months.
