A section of Colonel Talbot Road is closed to the public because of an ongoing incident involving police. OPP have had a presence in the area since 10:18 this morning.
UPDATE: Nobody was injured after a standoff in Norfolk County today.
Police were called to a ome on Colonel Talbot Road in Middleton around 10:18 this morning. They were stationed at the home for over 6 hours before making an arrest. The suspect was taken into police custody without further incident.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP have closed down a section of Colonel Talbot Road for what they are describing as an ongoing incident.
Few details are known at this time, however they have a strong police presence in the area since 10:18 this morning. Colonel Talbot Road between Mabee Side Road and Carson Road is closed to facilitate the OPP response.
The public is asked to avoid the area until further notice.
