Someone stole cigarettes from a variety store on Norwich Ave Thursday evening.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested and charged a suspect after a variety store on Norwich Ave was robbed.
Police say a man walked into the store shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, put his hand in his pocket, told the clerk that he had a gun, and demanded cigarettes.
He left after he got what he wanted, but he didn't get to far before he was arrested by police. The officers didn't find a gun on him after all and the 38-year-old is now facing one count of robbery.
