Mental health will be the topic of discussion during a regional roundtable this week.
WOODSTOCK - Several of the community's organizations will come together to discuss mental health.
MPP for Oxford County Ernie Hardeman says the roundtable is important to build mental health awareness.
"I think it's very helpful to get people involved and come up with some recommendations on what we can do to get the message out, to get people aware on the importance of watching their community and noticing when someone is struggling."
Hardeman will be joined from organizations like Canadian Mental Health and youth services from throughout Oxford County.
He adds it's important to improve on providing mental health services in Oxford County.
"We're really looking forward to a good discussion around the table. The service providers are the best people to talk about whether they believe that they're providing the services where they're needed and what more we, as government, can do to help."
The roundtable will take place on Friday at 10:00am.
