Over 250 runners participated this year in the Run Ingersoll Sprint Into Summer.
INGERSOLL - It was a record breaking year for the Run Ingersoll Sprint into Summer.
This years event raised over $6,000 dollars for the Fusion Youth Centre in Ingersoll. Fusion Youth Centre Administration Coordinator Susan Wolf says they were blown away by the support from the community this year.
"We had about a 170 register prior to the event day and on event day and I'm not 100 percent sure yet but we are looking at about 75, so we are well over 200 this year, which is record breaking for us, so a great year all around."
Wolf adds the Family 1K fun run was probably the most adorable race you will ever see. The other runners participated in 5 K and 10 K runs around Ingersoll.
